Terms of use
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The artwork is not free to use
Every tattoo design, drawing, photograph and text on this site is © Liron Biton unless stated otherwise, protected by the Israeli Copyright Law, 5768-2007 and international copyright treaties. You may view the site and share a link to it. You may not copy, download, re-post, trace, edit, sell, use to train AI models, or have another artist tattoo any of these designs without written permission.
Even where permission is given, Liron keeps her moral rights under the Copyright Law — to be credited as the artist, and to object to her work being distorted in a way that harms her name.
Messages we send
We don't send advertising or marketing messages. If a newsletter or promotions list is ever added, you will only receive it if you asked for it, and every message will tell you how to stop — as section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982 requires. Messages about an appointment you booked are not marketing.
Other services
Appointments are arranged through WhatsApp, Instagram direct messages or by phone. WhatsApp and Instagram are run by Meta and have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. Prices and availability are confirmed with you directly before an appointment — anything shown on the site is general information, not an offer.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Haifa have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in any other court that has jurisdiction under the law.
Tattoo appointments
An appointment is booked once we have agreed the design, placement, date and price with you in writing (a WhatsApp or Instagram message is enough) and any deposit is paid.
- Age. We tattoo only clients aged 18 and over, and may ask to see ID.
- Health. Before the session, tell us about anything that could affect it — for example pregnancy or breastfeeding, blood thinners, diabetes, a skin condition at the placement, allergies, or recent sunburn. We may postpone or decline an appointment for your safety. You sign a consent form at the studio before we start.
- Price. The price is agreed before the session. Prices are in shekels (₪) and include VAT wherever VAT applies.
- Deposit. [amount] to hold the date, deducted from the final price.
- If you need to cancel or move your appointment. [notice needed to move a date or get the deposit back, e.g. “at least 48 hours”]. This never takes away the legal right below.
- If we cancel. If we cannot make it, you get everything you paid back, or a new date if you prefer.
- Touch-ups. [touch-up policy, e.g. “one free touch-up within 2 months”].
- Designs. The tattoo on your skin is yours. The design and drawings remain Liron's work; we don't re-tattoo a custom design made for you on someone else without your agreement.
Your legal right to cancel a booking made remotely
If you booked by message or phone, the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010 let you cancel within 14 days of booking, provided you cancel at least two days (not counting rest days) before the appointment. We refund what you paid within 14 days, less a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower.
Aftercare & health information
The aftercare guide, the tips from our alien and anything else on this site about preparing for or healing a tattoo is general information, not medical advice. Every body heals differently. If you see signs of infection or an allergic reaction — spreading redness, heat, swelling, pus, fever — see a doctor.
Privacy
We collect as little as possible. This policy follows the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended, including Amendment 13) and the Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017 — and, for visitors in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
Who is responsible
Liron Biton is responsible for the personal data described here (the database owner, or controller). Contact details are under Who we are.
What this site collects
- Nothing about you, by default. There are no accounts, no forms, no advertising and no ad trackers.
- Visitor statistics — only if you allow them. With your permission we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, the referring site, and rough location and device type. It sets no cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and recognises a visit only by a code that changes every day. You can switch it off at any time in the privacy settings.
- Instagram posts — only if you allow them. The featured-work section can show an Instagram post. Until you allow it, you see a link instead. Loading a post connects your browser to Meta, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Meta's privacy policy.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks. The gallery and site text are stored with Supabase; it holds no information about visitors.
When you book
You send us your name, phone number and whatever you choose to write — often reference images and photos of the placement. At the studio you fill in a consent form that includes health information. Health information is sensitive data under the law, and we treat it that way. We use all of this only to plan and carry out your tattoo, to talk to you about it, and to keep the records the law requires. You are not legally required to give it to us, but we cannot tattoo you safely without it.
Who sees it
- Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram) — for messages you send us there, under Meta's policies.
- Our accountant and the tax authorities — payment records the law requires us to keep.
- Vercel and Supabase — as described above. These providers process data outside Israel, under their own privacy policies and safeguards.
We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing messages.
How long we keep it, and how it is protected
Payment records are kept for seven years, as Israeli tax law requires. Consent forms are kept for [period]. Messages are kept only as long as needed for your appointment. Records are kept securely with access limited to us, as the Data Security Regulations require.
Your rights
Under sections 13 and 14 of the Protection of Privacy Law you may review the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it; we will also delete it on request, except what the law requires us to keep. Visitors in the EU and UK also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to their data protection authority. Our legal bases are your consent (visitor statistics, Instagram posts), the agreement with you (appointments), our legal obligations (tax records), and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (hosting logs). Write to [email address] and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
Your tattoo in the gallery
The gallery shows tattoos Liron has done, with the client's agreement. If a photo of your tattoo is on the site and you'd rather it wasn't — no reason needed — send the link or a screenshot to [email address] or by WhatsApp, and we will take it down within 7 days.
Accessibility
Accessibility has its own page, so it's easy to find and link to: Accessibility statement. It covers the settings available on every page, what has been done, known limitations, and how to reach us about a barrier.
Draft for review. Details in pink still need to be filled in, and the appointment and privacy sections should be read by an Israeli lawyer before they are relied on.
